Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
- Build and optimize data storage solutions, including data warehousing and data lakes.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability throughout the data pipeline.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform data transformations and aggregations to support analytics and reporting.
- Work with data scientists and analysts to enable advanced analytics.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements:
1.Education and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related role.
2.Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS)
