Konstellation is an organization whose vision is to allow for both new and seasoned investors to pursue a wide variety of investment opportunities in the DeFi and cryptocurrency market. Konstellation is also the name of the blockchain mainnet developed by the organization. It is often helpful to distinguish between Konstellation as an organization and Konstellation as a blockchain mainnet.

Konstellation ecosystem initiatives and related projects include:

  • Digital Asset Management: VegaX Holdings, a global digital asset management platform with over 100 million USD in current assets on platform
  • DEX: Taebit, a decentralized FX powered omni-currency exchange
  • Carbon Credits: Karbon Network, a decentralized platform for the financing lifecycle of carbon credit projects.

**The post holder will be employed by Konstellation working across Konstellation and VegaX

Job Description

VP of BizOps Strategy will spearhead multiple cross functional mandates which covers product, profit and process. The post holder will be reporting to the senior management and serving as an integral member of the management team, responsible for the development of Konstellation’s practices of product management, business operation, internal control system eventually contributing to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. The post holder should understand the complexity of our index products and index linked investment products as well as other blockchain initiatives and optimize resources and processes to achieve the business objectives in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Business Operation Innovation

  • Partner with team leads and company leadership to develop and maintain annual and quarterly goals
  • Develop processes to promote accountability and clarity to focus on key priorities
  • Coordinating business process improvement strategies with internal stakeholders - Tech, Product Management, Financial Innovation Group etc.
  • Overseeing all aspects related to the implementation stages of business process improvement initiatives
  • Performing ongoing analyses on business processes related to productivity, profitability, costs, and time management.
  • Presenting progress reports to key stakeholders and integrating feedback into future iterations

Financial Planning and Operations

  • Advise the CEO and other key members of senior management on financial planning budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.
  • Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the leadership group informed of all critical issues.
  • Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual budget process.
  • Improve administrative and operational accounting services such as treasury management, payment processing, payroll, closing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years experience in an operational capacity with a high-growth organization
  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization
  • Prior experience executing, measuring results, and demonstrating progress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across a diverse group of partners and operations team members.
  • Be able to quickly build trust with other team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate dense information effectively to multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills including negotiation and conflict  resolution skills
  • Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
  • Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
  • Excellent active listening skills combined with the ability to develop a nuanced point of view that can be comfortably shared and refined with other team members.
