About The Job

As our Business Development Manager, you will help forge the growth path of Team8 Health. At Team8, we value innovation and impact, and we look forward to see you take on ownership and hear your distinct voice.

Your focus will be to construct our "Village" - Your primary task will be architecting the Team8 Health "Village" - an exclusive network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) who are essential to our ideation process and company-building operations. This isn't just a community; it's a carefully curated hub of thought-leadership. Additionally, you will continuously identify opportunities, develop and deliver strategic initiatives, and maintain various relationships across the different channels.

Team8 Health is Team8’s digital health foundry specializing in using proprietary data science tools and a got-to-market-first approach to build digital health companies at the intersection of cyber, AI, fintech and digital health.

As part of the Team8 Health team, you will:

  • Build and nurture the Team8 Health "Village" by creating and developing the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) ecosystem and maintaining strong relationships with key healthcare players, digital health stakeholders and our partners.
  • Foster relationships with existing partners to ensure long-term engagement and mutual growth.
  • Generate exploration and validation calls as part of the ideation and company building process.
  • Identify and generate potential partnership opportunities, including strategic partnerships and POCs for portfolio companies.
  • Collaborate with the Team8 ecosystem and portfolio companies to identify and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Continuously strategize and nurture outreach efforts to foster collaboration and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities.
  • Map industry events and proactively reach out to prospects to set up relevant meetings through outbound prospecting efforts.
  • Develop outbound value propositions and messages, define contact strategies and manage outreach strategies. Develop and leverage existing relationships within target accounts to gain access to correct and key decision-makers.
  • Tailoring and organizing roadshows to showcase our company's products or services to potential partners and clients, ensuring effective communication of value propositions.
  • Capture, track and analyze all contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities in CRM, tools and database.

Requirements:

Who You Are

  • 7-10 years of experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the health sector in the US.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Development Representative/ Sales Development within the digital health sector in the US.
  • Relationship-building expertise with global C- level executives in the US.
  • Experience working in a startup or venture capital ecosystem.
  • Analytical and tech-savvy.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as understanding strategic frameworks and concepts.
  • Ability to digest large volumes of information and synthesize key takeaways.
  • Experienced working with CRM and SDR tools.
  • Team player with a passion for a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Native English speaker.
