We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SRE Team Manager to lead and mentor our growing Site Reliability Engineering team. As the Senior SRE Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our digital infrastructure. You will lead a team of talented SREs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to optimize systems, enhance automation, and drive continuous improvement in our technology operations.

- Develop and execute strategies to ensure the flawless operation, scalability, and resiliency of our Azure-based systems, aligning with business goals and customer expectations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Engineering, and Product teams to facilitate seamless deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure resources and services.
- Establish and enforce Azure-specific SRE best practices, encompassing incident response, post-incident analysis, capacity planning, and change management.
- Design and implement automated solutions, tools, and monitoring frameworks tailored to assess and optimize the health and performance of Azure environments.
- Lead incident management and root cause analysis efforts, driving continuous improvement to mitigate future incidents and minimize service disruption.
- Initiate projects to enhance system resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity within the Azure ecosystem.
- Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to influence design decisions that enhance Azure system reliability, operability, and maintainability.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure technologies, integrating relevant advancements to enhance our Azure-specific SRE practices.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the Azure SRE team, fostering an environment of technical excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience (8+ years) effectively leading and managing high-performing SRE teams, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure environments.
- Expertise in Azure-specific SRE methodologies, Azure architecture, and cloud computing concepts.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation, tool development, and Azure resource management.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, and Azure Resource Manager.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies in Azure, such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Strong background in incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews within Azure environments.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an analytical and data-driven approach to diagnosing complex system issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and influence technical decisions.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and configuration management tools within Azure.
- Previous engagement with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly regarded.
