Accounting Analyst (Contract)

The Team:

The team presently includes seven individuals in Mumbai including revenue, AP, and GL accountants. The team is expected to expand as more functional areas and tasks are offshored. The US team mainly resides in Chicago and includes 10 individuals.

The Role:

Enfusion is seeking a temporary accounting analyst to support our shared service center. This role will cover a leave of absence and is expected to last approximately 7-9 months. This person will work closely with teams that directly support the United States accounting/finance function.

In this role, you will be part of a talented team that supports our accounting, finance, and compliance initiatives. You will assist teams with month/quarter/year-end accounting, accounts payable, taxes, statutory audits, and specific accounting processes.

What You’ll Do:

Month/quarter/year-end close accounting, including activities such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and auditor requests
Check invoices, calculations, and reconciliations related to India’s direct (TDS) and indirect (GST) taxes
Process invoices and payments in Paramount
Post and reconcile bank statements
Support teams as needed with specific processes related to prepaids, fixed assets, or leases
Assist with international statutory financial package preparation and related audit requests

Work in Intacct and Blackline software systems, including any system upgrades or migrations

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
1-2 years of work experience in accounting
Chartered Accountant or Chartered Accountant Inter preferred
Preferred skills: fast-learner, Excel, strong written and verbal communications, professional, positive attitude, collaborative

Preferred experience: familiarity with US GAAP accounting and India taxation.
