What We’re Looking for
- The “Principal – Enterprise Systems & Architecture””, plays a critical role for Cross River and will report to the "Head of Enterprise Systems" and should be able to:
- Provide guidance and directions to Enterprise Systems to ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture standards, principles, and guidelines.
- Evaluate, support the solutioning. and architecture of new solutions being considered within the Enterprise at Cross River.
- Manage relationships between the functions within the Cross River organization.
- Provide guidance on new software and/or services being procured and ensure due diligence is done prior to onboarding new software and/or services into the Enterprise.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive evaluation of various tools, technologies, and solutions being procured into the Enterprise.
- Experience with IT application development methodologies, principles, and practices.
- Establishment and maintenance of contacts within business units and information system programs to understand business activities and business drivers, business requirements, solutions strategies, alternatives, etc., being considered and/or implemented.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that solutions deliver expected business value and align to organizational objectives and requirements.
- Drive collaboration, engagement and partnership with business stakeholders, technical teams to design, develop, and align with organizational objectives while also ensuring that appropriate solutions are being evaluated and considered for onboarding into the Enterprise.
- Run due diligence to ensure tools and technologies are aligned as fit for use and aligned with overall goals of the Enterprise.
- Create and maintain enterprise-wide architecture models and roadmaps that align with Enterprise objectives and strategies.
- Assess new and emerging technologies and present recommendations to meet Enterprise needs.
- Facilitates and maintains relationships between various functions.
- Supports the negotiation of contracts to drive value to the Enterprise.
- Represent the technology group and advocate for standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with large-scale enterprise solutioning initiatives, project management and delivery experience. Financial services experience is preferred.
- Bachelors or master’s in computer science, MIS, or Management
- Internally and externally recognized expert with the ability to influence the way things are done.
- Strong technology background with a good knowledge of project and program management, excellence in communication, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, and experience applying them to real-world scenarios.
- Experiencing designing, developing, implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise-wide solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with others.
- Adaptable individual who can lead effectively under pressure and through ambiguity and frequent changes.
- Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate and influence members across functions.

- Provides transparency and visibility through status reporting on a regular basis to stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinating activities with other groups including third party providers
- Coordinates and facilitates meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders and individuals.
- Plans and coordinates delivery and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Promotes/facilitates communication and collaboration across organizations to support solutioning and delivery.
Required Skills
- Communication, both verbal (e.g., discussions, presentations, etc.) and written (e.g., reports, etc.) and the ability to convey technical nuances in non-technical terms.
- Group session facilitation.

- Marketing (“selling” the results of solution / architectural approaches).
- Analysis and design.
- Knowledge of software development process and technical skills and ability to identify risks, propose immediate solutions and provide guidance for different areas.
- Project management skills.
- Organizational, time management, and monitoring skills: To keep initiatives on schedule and ensure appropriate monitoring is in place for contracts that may be expiring.
- Change Management
- Prior financial services experience.

- Excellent Communication and partnering skills.
- Ability to plan, coordinate and lead meetings and workshops and ensure that meetings and workshops are agenda and objective focused.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements.

Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00
