What We're Looking For

Cross River is a venture-backed company reinventing banking to power the financial services of the future. Cross River is a leader in the Marketplace Lending and Payment arenas, providing cutting edge solutions to some of the largest and most innovative technology companies in the world. Our Treasury team is currently looking for a Manager to join us in our fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role will support the Asset & Liability Management (ALM) and Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) teams, with a willingness to learn other areas of Treasury.

The successful candidate will be innovative, a self-starter, and enthusiastic about the evolving worlds of finance and technology. The individual must demonstrate the ability to distill complex concepts into clear action plans while demonstrating a focus on developing logical approaches to problem solving. A clear grasp of key treasury functions is critical, specifically ALM and FTP.

Responsibilities:

• Support key Treasury initiatives, potentially including:
  • Input into designing and managing ALM framework
  • Designing the approach and policy around the firm’s FTP processes
  • ALCO material design and production
  • Execution and managing of Interest Rate and FX hedging program
  • Implementation of deal level RoE metrics and FTP framework
  • Collaboration with business lines on key treasury initiatives
• Partner effectively across the Treasury Department and various areas of Finance and Business Units, utilizing strong financial and analytical skills, as well as thorough understanding of capital planning, funding strategies and key balance sheet metrics
• Foster relationships with partners with business and finance departments to resolve funding questions, provide strategic guidance and communicate capital and funding usage

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-6+ years of one or more of ALM, FTP or Treasury experience
• Experience within Treasury at a regulated banking institution preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Technologically proficient
• Effective in data gathering/synthesis, able to work in an unstructured environment, effective communication skills and able to build partnerships internally and externally
• An outlier attitude: passion, perseverance, and positivity

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00
