What We're Looking For

Cross River’s Fintech Banking Business Credit Risk team has oversight over assessing, monitoring, and reporting the risks faced by the Bank across credit products and partners. The Data Oversight Senior Analyst will support and lead oversight over data delivery, data completeness, and data quality for various data sources that are used for risk reporting (application, transaction, servicing, and others). The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, analytical, results-driven, and be comfortable working with people and partners. This role will work with the data governance team as Data owner for various sources of data (application, transaction, servicing, and others). Additionally, this position will be involved in creating risk reports for monthly management risk committees.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with external and internal partners to set up verified and high-quality data delivery of different data sources (application, transaction, servicing, and others) needed for risk reporting and monitoring
  • Review and analyze data sources for completeness to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Create and Maintain Risk and Performance Reports
  • Work closely with oversight areas to manage new and existing risks via data collection and report build outs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree in finance, economics, data analytics, math or related major
  • 3-5 years of experience in performing risk reporting and data reviews
  • Knowledge of SQL required (Advanced Excel, Python, Tableau, or SAS plus)
  • Product and data knowledge of unsecured loans and cards a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners, as well as with leaders and other internal/external stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and work independently.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
