Senior Manager - Embedded Financial Services Adoption

The Platform Offering Strategy Team is part of the broader Platforms & Financial Services (P&FS) Pillar at Adyen. Our team mission is to position Adyen as the clear choice for embedded payments and financial service offerings through value illustration and offering innovation. We will drive revenue at scale through the development of an offering strategy that meets customer needs & pain points in a differentiated way. Team objectives include:

  • Enable / simplify strategic selling through commercial guidance and leadership
  • Develop enhancement recommendations to the current offering
  • Develop offering strategies that meet the next iteration of customer pain points
  • Support Adyen’s broader external presence through strategic events, publications, etc.

The Embedded Financial Services Adoption, Senior Manager will play a critical role in the team’s success by driving scaled adoption of our latest embedded financial products.

What you’ll work on

  • Responsible for global, end-to-end EFP adoption, i.e. Capital, Accounts and platform Issuing, including pipeline management, pitching, driving to signature and fast ramp
  • Test and learn new selling / ramp strategies to develop playbook(s) by product, customer segment, region, etc.
  • Share key insights with the Solutions team and across all of Adyen on customer needs, pain points, reactions to product enhancements, etc.
  • Develop and ensure all EFP materials are best-in-class, i.e. pitch deck, demos, etc.
  • Be the go-to Adyen EFP ambassador and thought-leader 
  • Partner closely across the P&FS Pillar to ensure a cohesive approach

Who you are

  • 5-8 years of product sales experience and/or product incubation 
  • Experience in the payments industry is essential for this role
  • Strategic mindset with an acute attention to solving customer pain points and needs
  • Strong communicator able to influence across functions, levels and customers
  • Deep understanding of platform customers
  • Deep understanding of payments / embedded financial products
  • Ability to understand product details / functionality in order to create winning strategies
  • Curious / collaborative approach that includes diverse ideas / inputs
  • Ability to prioritize and act independently to deliver results quickly
