HR Business Partner Lead
Adyen is looking for an HR Business Partner Lead to support in scaling our Operations & Staff teams in EMEA. In this role, you will be working directly with the Global Operations Leadership team, driving the global HR strategy in Operations and guiding a team of HR Business Partners who are responsible for all Operations and Staff teams in EMEA.  

What you’ll do

  • Guide a team of Operations & Staff HR Business Partners in Amsterdam
  • Work closely together with the Global Operations Leadership Team to drive the HR strategy within the Operations department; 
  • Be a coach and trusted HR advisor to global functional representatives across all aspects of their team including leadership development, succession planning, location strategy, org design, etc. 
  • Ensuring Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and other global initiatives across the organizations
  • Be accountable for driving global HR processes for the Operations department such as workforce planning and the bi-annual performance review.
  • Collaborate together with the global HR team (Rewards, L&D, HR Innovations and Recruitment) to meet business objectives and develop, enhance and launch initiatives aligned with the evolving needs of our business at a global scale
  • Take a data-driven approach to all HR processes while identifying opportunities for improvement 

Who you are

  • You’ve got at least 7+ years experience working together with managers in a people partnering role at a high-pace company
  • You have experience managing a team
  • You have a deep understanding and expertise of Dutch and European local labor related legislation
  • You have a strong sense of self and build trust quickly to become a trusted business advisor at different levels of the organization
  • You are able to question the status quo with managers and work with them to define new solutions to old problems
  • You are able to discuss people's objectives and implications driving local initiatives (ex. retention, engagement, performance, compensation, labor matters, etc.) to influence local leaders to make the best decisions
  • You’re hands-on, but know how to collaborate and prioritize (constantly looking for how things can be done more simply or automated)
  • You’re excited to try new approaches, do things differently, and aren’t afraid to “build as you go”
  • You have the ability to execute the global and functional people strategy ensuring alignment together with regional/local culture and practices and partnering with local leadership
  • Ability to coach decision making professionals on how they can have broad, cross functional influence on strategy at Adyen.
