Workday Integration Specialist

Adyen is looking for a Techno-Functional Workday Finance Specialist who will be responsible for automating operational accounting with the Group Finance team. This includes business process implementation, reporting, dashboards, integrations and configuration; particularly in Finance ERP system Workday.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for preparation, execution, and optimisation of our internal finance processes.
• Proactively improve existing internal processes and develop solutions together with various teams, such as Controlling & Accounting, Payroll, Reporting, Human Resources and Treasury.
• Consult on technical feasibility of projects and take the technical lead in implementation.
• Integrate with internal systems & external partners through API / Web services.
• Design and implement security structure.
• Analyze operational bottlenecks and automate controls.
• Support and maintain Workday for finance globally.
• Work closely with all of our Finance, HR and Payroll teams globally to gain a deep understanding of our finance processes.

Who you are:

• 3+ year’s professional experience in Workday Integrations or finance automation projects.
• Techno Functional Expert with experience in ERP such as Workday. As important is your passion for supporting people and optimizing our system processes and that you are comfortable to challenge and be challenged.
• You have strong analytical skills, communicate clearly and are able to present information to a non-technical audience.
• You understand architecture principles, data models, functional interactions, privacy regulations and security and recognize and understand impact of changes, also to other systems downstream.
• You are innovative, have strong problem-solving capabilities and have the initiative to drive change with others while keeping in mind downstream dependencies.
• You have experience in technical integrations (such as API through SOAP/REST, XML, Scripting, Java).
