In-Person Payments QA Automation Engineer

Adyen is looking for an In-Person Payments QA Automation Engineer to test the software on payment terminals, and to prepare these tests for automation. This position is based in Amsterdam.

What you'll do

In this position we require you to focus on the test cases for our software that runs on payment terminals. Adyen launches new features at a high pace and the automated execution of test cases is completed after introducing a feature. For the automation of these test cases we make use of our in-house build robots. In this role you will work together with the developers to manually test new features while introducing these features to the market and prepare the automated test environment to run automated tests when the feature is introduced.

Who you are

• Strong ties with testing, you love to try to break things!
• You should not mind manually testing various payment terminals, setups and features, but you also like to help automating these tests
• You test beyond the happy flow, think like the end users, and don’t hesitate to test the unobvious flows
• You have a strong technical background - development experience is a definitive plus
• You are a highly collaborative person as you will need to work together with many developers to understand and optimize the tests for new features

Please note that this role is a full-time position in Amsterdam. It will require a relocation in case you live outside of the Netherlands.
